Some of you may know that I am a volunteer at Dial Wood Carriage Driving for the Disabled in Wakefield. Our Centre was officially opened by HRH Princess Anne in 1998 and we offer Carriage driving and activities with ponies to disabled people - whether they are ambulant or wheelchair users. Disabled people can learn carriage driving and horse care, or they can simply come and enjoy the fresh air and be taken for a carriage drive. I'm quite torn at the moment. I've received a couple of pretty expensive pieces of art this year that for one reason or another aren't quite as accurate as I'd like. The pieces have been finished and delivered, so obviously they can't be rectified. One of which, the colours are significantly darker/slightly different than the reference I provided. I've once raised an issue with minor details with another artist in the past during a commission, and promptly got told that my description wasn't good enough/worded clearly for her (where as, her communication was atrocious and she could have simply asked about it, but that's another story).
